• How to Bulk Update the Test case step Status and Assignee in Test run ?

Add Result

1. In the Test Result page, click on "Add Result" icon
2. Select the Test status
3. Enter the Comments(optional)
4. Click Save Result

Bulk Update Test result Status

1. We can change the status of all testrun by using Bulk update feature

2. This can be done globally(For whole testrun) and module level(for that particular module)

3. Globally- click on the 3 dots(Actions) and select bulk update

4. From th dropdown select a status and click on save - all modules in the test run - test case status will be changed.

5. Module level- Click on Bulk update and select status and click save.

6. selected status will be changed for all test case in that particular module .

7. Navigate to the Test result page

8. To Update all the results in a Test run click on Bulk update from main menu ⋮-> Bulk Update / To Update all the results in a Module click on Bulk update from the module menu

9. Select the required status and click on Save

Bulk Update Test result

1. Click the checkbox which is placed in test result header or any of the test result check box.
2. Displayed the bulk action overlay.
3. Now we can do the Bulk update of status and Assigned to.
4. And also we can link the issue to test result by link issues tab.

Step Execution

1. Test Result Step Execution
2. In the Test Result page
3. Click on Step Icon near Test case Title to open Step execution overlay
4. The Overlay Displays Test case steps & Expected Results along with their status and assignee
5. To Add Result - Click on the Result icon. Select the Test status, Enter the Comments(optional), Click Save Result
6. To Add Issue - click on the Issue icon. Enter the Issue Summary, Select the Priority and Status, Click on Save Button

Add Issue

1. In the Test Result page, click on "Issue" icon
2. Enter the Issue Summary
3. Select the Priority
4. Click on Save Button

Link Issue

1. In the Test Result page, Select Test cases to which you need to link issues
2. Click on "Link Issues" Button
3. Select the Issue(s)
4. Click on Link Button

Change Testcase Status

1. In the Test Result page, click on the Status Dropdown
2. Choose the status
3. Test Case status will be updated

Filter Testcases

1. In the Test Result page, click on "Filter" Button
2. Test cases can be filtered out based on (Case Title, Module, Status, Assigned User, Priority, Type, Mode) here.

Create Re-run

1. In Test Result page, Click on the Re-run Button
2. Enter the Title for Re-run
3. Choose the Test status(es)
4. Click Rerun Button

Add latest test cases in test run

When you create new test cases in an existing module and want to add those test cases in an existing test run, the below steps will be helpful for you

1. Login to the product.
2. Go to the test run result page.
3. Click on the + icon which is present next to the module name in the module panel.
4. You can add the recently created test cases by clicking on “Add Cases” buttons

Add latest steps into the test cases in test run

When the test case steps(applicable for test cases created with Test Case Template(Steps)) are updated after creating a test run, you can easily update those recently added steps.

The steps are below

1. Login to the product.
2. Go to the test run result page.
3. Click on the test case view icon.
4. Go to the “Test case steps & status” tab.
5. Click on the “Add Latest Steps” button.
6. Add the required steps created recently by clicking on the “Add steps” button.

Requirement Summary

1.Requirement Summary - Click on this option to view Requirements mapped with the Test cases in this Test run.

Jira Issues

1.Jira Issues - Click on this option to view Jira issue Overlay

Test Result Attachments

1.Test Result Attachments - Click on this option to view Test result Attachments mapped with the Test cases in this Test run.

Test Run Clone

1. Click the clone button
2. Enter the title of Test run and select the Status in the overlay
3. Click save

Overall Status

1. Click the Overall status button
2. Now will show the Overall status details

Others

1.All Cases - Click on this button to view all Test cases in this run and with the option to filter based on the status.

2.View Issues - Click on this Button to view Issues linked with the Test run

Testrun view- Steps status history attachments

1. To view the attachments for steps
2. Click on the test case steps and status tab
3. Click on the attachment icon at the end of the step

Test result Export Status

By clicking the Export status we can get the xlsx file of status.

Test Result View

1. Click on the Test Case title from the Test Result page to navigate to Test Result View
2. Test Result view page provides the following details
   1. Overview: Provides details about all Test case fields
   2. Add Result: Option to Add Test Result
   3. Add Issue: Option to Add Issue
   4. Result History: Shows Timeline of Test results (Status, Changed By and Date)
   5. Status History: Shows Stats of Test results (Total Execution count and respective status counts)
   6. Step Result History: Shows Timeline of Test Step results (Status, Changed By and Date)
   7. Assigned History: Shows Timeline of Test Step Assignee changed
   8. Test Result Attachments: Lists all files attached to Test results and Test step results
   9. Test Case Steps & Status: Displays Test case steps & Expected Results along with their status(also has the option to change status)

Add Release

1. You can also add release in the add testrun form itself
2. In testrun page, select add testrun
3. In testrun form under release field, click “Click here”

How to Bulk Update the Test case step Status and Assignee in Test run ?

1. To Bulk update the step,Go to test run module
2. Click on the test case title and step list tab
3. Select the step you want to update
4. On the status and assignee dropdown choose the respective name and status.
5. Click on the Bulk Update button
6. Results will be updated successfully.
