Create a Release and do a Test Run


To create a Test Run in QA Touch, follow these steps:

1.Login to QA Touch.
2.On the left panel, Click on Project List.

3.Enter the project where you want to add releases.

4.On the left panel, Click on Project Name -> Releases.

5.Click on the Add Release button and fill :
    -Release Name
    -Duration
    -Files (if any)
    -then click Save.

6.The release will now be added under the releases section.
    -The status of the release will be:
        -Open: If the start date is on or before the date of release creation
        -Upcoming: If the start date is after the date of release creation
        -Completed: If the release is marked as completed.

7.After adding the Release, now you can create and execute a Test Run.
8.On the left panel, Click on Project Name -> Test Runs.

9.Click on the Add Test Run button.

10.Fill in the List of:
    -Test Run Name
    -under Release
    -the Assignee to the Run
    -select whether you want to include all Test Cases or specific Test Cases
    -then click Save.

11.Click on the Run button to run the Test Case.

12.The Test Run has been executed successfully. 
    You can see the results of the run in terms of :
        -Status of each Test Case
        -Overall Results
        -Issue Status.

13.You can edit the Status and Assignee of each Test Case.
Note: If a test case is assigned as Failed or Blocked, the Issues box will pop-up to mention the reason for test failure.
